Our staff are not your traditional camp staff like you will find elsewhere. Our hand picked counselors are first screened and fully background checked and are known to be caring and dedicated individuals from around the world. They choose to spend their summer making a difference by completely devoting themselves to giving their campers a meaningful and fun summer experience. The strong personal connections, warmth and trust is a bond that often continues long after the camp season is over. 
  
Our staff are trained to provide personal quality care for each and every camper. They are there as a coach, friend and role model tending to the social and emotional needs of each child in their care. Our commitment to small staff/child ratio in addition to small group size helps us provide exceptional supervision and care.

2.  Jewish Experience

Campers experience the beauty and excitement of Judaism in a joyful and accepting environment. They get to understand Jewish life and traditions through special themed workshops and hands-on fun experiences. 

Jewish Holidays, values and customs are learned through activities and the real life examples set by our staff. Judaism is not taught it's lived. 
  
Camp CHAI is the place for every Jewish child. We are proud to be a uniting, welcoming community for all denominations and affiliations. 

Parents are invited to join us for the weekly “parents and children” Shabbat Prayer Service where we begin with lighting the Shabbat candles and welcome the Shabbat with song and prayer. Listen a sermon by one of our dear campers fallowed by are famous Kidush.

  3.  The “Get it ALL in ONE” CAMP

 Campers at ONE LEV -Camp Jem Chai are not limited to one specific subject or field. With the inclusion of our specialty workshops, our camp becomes a Science Camp, Swimming Camp, Sports Camp, Basketball Camp, Dance Camp, Acting Camp, Trip Camp and more all in one! Workshops are taught by professional teachers and counselors who bring their area of expertise to our campers.

This assortment allows children to shine in a specific area or learn that they enjoy an activity they have never experienced. By the end of the summer they may find a new hobby or activity that they had never before had the opportunity to explore.
