Our mission is to delight our customers by giving a fun and meaningful Jewish camp experience for children from diverse Jewish backgrounds. We marvel at the opportunity to make kids smile. We are passionate about providing safe, quality programming and constantly monitor our progress with major Camp Accreditation Associations. It provides your child with a rich and wholesome summer/winter vacation of fun and excitement along with friendship and meaningful educational experiences.

CAMP ONE LEV prides itself on its exceptional staff. All staff come with prior camp experience and a desire to work with kids. Bunk sizes are kept small and well staffed.

We take great pride in our commitment to recruiting, training and keeping the highest quality staff in the camping profession. Over the years, Camp Jem Chai of Beverly Hills has always been dedicated to small groups with exceptional staff supervision. This ensures the best possible care, instruction and supervision for our campers. Our counselors are highly trained, dedicated, and experienced.

 

Our devisions

The ONE LEV- Camp Jem Chai program is exciting at any age. Each of our summer programs are tailored to be age appropriate and flexible to serve the needs of each child. With each new year, children “graduate” to a higher CHAI hallmark of safety, fun, and unconditional love. Activities

Sports with instruction, Martial Arts, Dance, Arts N' Crafts, Drama, Swimming, Science, Ceramics, Computer Classes, Arcades, Carnival Day, Color War, Bean Hunt Talent Show.....

Field trips

CAMP ONE LEV  is famous for our amazing field trips. Our older division goes on trips twice a week and our Kiddies division once a week.  Our field trips include Roller skating, laser Tag, Miniature Golf, Arcades, Go-Karting, Hiking, Overnight Camping, Boating, Beach, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, Sea World, Legoland, and Dodger's Stadium.....To keep the kids excited we change around the trips every year.

Hebrew classes

CAMP ONE LEV   provides children with Hebrew reading and writing skills. We also educate our campers with fundamental concepts in Judaism such as honoring our parents and elders, the reasons behind our holiday themes and other mitzvot.

Jewish CULTURE

Campers learn to appreciate the beauty of Jewish culture. Weekend Shabbatons, Late Nights, Israeli Dancing, Judaic Crafts,  Chalah Baking, Shabbat Parties, Stories, Bar-B-Qs, Plays and Contests are just some of the Judaic experience that brings the beauty of judaism to life for our campers.

SPORTS

Array of sports activities are used everyday to energize our campers. Our dynamic instructors offer basketball, soccer, baseball, karate, football, kickball, hockey, volleyball, elimination and more. Campers not only learn the fundamental sport techniques, enabling individual progressions, but also the importance disciplines of teamwork and sportsmanship.

Safe & Secure

Our camp program is based in our private location in the heart of Beverly Hills at the Beverly Hills Sport Center.  The facility is an indoor secured facility and  A security staff member will be on the camp site at all times as wells as  secured by  recorded surveillance cameras.  Our staff are fully screened and have extensive training prior to the start of camp. Staff are in constant communication with the office via walkie-talkies, this allows us to assure the safety and security of our campers.  our on-site indoor swimming pool is monitored by trained and licensed aquatics professionals and certified lifeguards.

Arts n' crafts

The emphasis in this program is to nurture creative self-expression and imagination. Our highly resourceful Arts n' crafts Teachers, assist campers in various innovative Judaic projects including ceramics, woodcrafts, fabric painting, food decorating, and baking all having to do with our weekly Judaic  themes.
